Price drop to $1200 to see if there is any interest. This is a pretty cool 7-string Gretsch Sho-Bro. No serial number (I've seen other 7 string Gretsches that for some reason also have no serial number, unlike the more common 6 string version; also, no Gretsch on the peghead) but these were only made from around 1970 until 1973. This one has a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret (early ones joined at the 14th) and is a model 7710. Arched back maple body with some nice figure in the neck. Some dings and scratches. Wear to the fingerboard markers. Belonged to a friend of mine who also is a forum member and unfortunately is no longer able to play. The original Gretsch logo tailpiece is broken at the hinge (it's in the case pocket now) so a traditional tailpiece is there in its' place. Original brown Gretsch case is a bit beat up but functional. I'm asking $1200 OBO including CONUS shipping. I'm posting a few pictures here but I do have more if there is some interest. Contact through PM. I may be posting this elsewhere too but will give you guys first shot at it.
