| Ron Fields, our beloved OSGA steel guitar teacher and friend, passed away this morning about 4:00 A.M. He has battled this cancer for several years and the Lord took him this morning. We will let you know details about his service as soon as we know. Keep his family in your prayers. |

| Ron was a long, long time member of the OSGA. Very dedicated to the steel guitar community. He will be sorely missed by all, we extend our deepest sympathies to his family. |

| I'm really sad to hear this! Ron was a Good Friend of mine for several years. We had a lot of laughs and he loved the Steel Guitar and the Steel Players! He loved The Lord Jesus Christ and I expect to see him on the other side one day! Prayers for his Family and Friends! |

| Yes, I think he talked to Jerry Knapper a couple weeks ago and made arrangements to get together when Jerry got there. He was a great person. A few months ago, he played his arrangement of "In the Garden". |

| I visited with Ron's family yesterday, and Ron was cremated; therefore, they are going to have a memorial and I will let you know the details as soon as plans have been finalized. Thanks for all your prayers for his family. |
