I'm not aware of them building cases, I thought they only made covers.
And, no, they're out of business.

I'm a huge fan of Tuki covers. They use the same material as D2F, but 1/2" foam instead of 1/4" They have a flap that goes underneath the handle, and a 2" Velcro strap around the bottom so the cover can't slide up. They make custom sizes at no extra charge. Go to www.tukicovers.com |

Studio Slips shows an available cover for a standard Steeler's Choice Seat.
I'm having a new cover made for my Steeler's Choice sidekick with seat back now (should be shipped any day). I had to give her the measurements and she was going to make a pattern for future orders. The cover will be like the D2F with a zippered "clamshell" cover over the bottom.

Before contacting Studio Slips I did contact LeAnn about a cover. The only reason I went with Studio Slips is the material is about the same as D2F, rather than a vinyl type cover. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat

Jack, keep us posted re: the seat cover. Pics would be good as well. If it turns out nice, I would be interested in one as well. |

Studio Slips makes covers and gig bags to order. If it's not already in their database, you can send them the dimensions. They will create a new template, make the item, and add your gear to their database for the next person who wants one.
I strongly encourage steel guitarists to use this feature. Susan would love to add more products for the steel community. It would be great to see covers for a variety of steel guitars and steel seats in the Studio Slips database.
Here's a custom job they did for me. It's a "clamshell gig bag" to carry my home-made effects stand, with two pockets for other stuff. I love it!

I also went with Studio Slips for a cover for my custom build Deluxe Reverb amp. ItΓ’β¬β’s absolutely perfect! I liked that the padding in the cover is not foam which can deteriorate over time. What they use is the same as a moving blanket for padding. |

I just received the FedEx shipping notice for the Steeler's Choice sidekick with back cover from Susan. It will ship Monday and delivery ETA is Monday, Oct 29th (California to Florida).
This is a tricky cover and Susan is concerned about fit, even with the detailed drawings and dimensions that I provided. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat

I received the Studio Slips cover for my Steeler's Choice Sidekick with back today. It fits well but to be truthful not "form fitting" like the D2F. In defense of Susan this was a toughie.
I'll post pictures later. _________________ GFI Ultra Keyless S-10 with pad (Black of course) TB202 amp, Hilton VP, Steelers Choice sidekick seat

Will it save the polished aluminum from getting scratched and the fabric from getting torn? If so, that is all I need. |

Here are the pictures.
First one is the front.
This is the top. The zipper is in the rear.
This is the right end. I installed a different handle from the stock one that comes with the seat.
