This Rare Gem is a 1999 Gibson "Dobrolektric" electric Dobro guitar. This is a really cool instrument which seems to be increasingly hard to find, especially in Blackburst - a resonator guitar with a P-90 makes for a great sounding combination. The Dobrolektric is a quality constructed Gibson USA made instrument. Made to be played acoustically or amplified. Serial number is D9101419. I believe the color is the Transparent Blackburst . Check out the pics close. Cool finish !!
The body is maple semi-hollow thinline with resonator and F-hole, Gibson P-90 and nickel bridge transducer pickup, pickup blend and volume controls, top and back binding. The neck is flamed maple with rosewood fretboard, 24.5" scale, 19 frets, 1-11/16" nut width, and dobro headstock emblem.
This guitar is in excellent condition . It is about as nice as they come for 19 years old. There are a few minor scratches from light playing, but nothing at all major. She sounds great, looks fantastic, and she comes with original hard shell case in excellent condition. Price includes UPS Shipping in the lower 48 Asking $1,250.
