I've spotted two Facebook accounts this evening that claim to be Billy Easton, both with the same picture and no public messages. I don't know what the scam is, but be wary of friend requests over there. I've seen frauds like this before on Facebook.
Update Billy has confirmed that one of these new accounts is his, created by Facebook when he lost his phone. False alarm. I don't know why there are two of them, though.

I just got a Facebook request from Billy Easton,But we have been Facebook friends for a while so I ignored the new request.

It happens now and then. I just can't figure out the scam. Maybe they flood their feeds with ads and now you get them because you are friends. Only thing I can think of.

False alarm. Received this email from Billy:
