The tuner out jack is always connected. There is a 1megohm resistor between the input signal and the tuner output signal. You can tune with the volume backed off all the way, and there is no tone degradation with or without a tuner connected.

I would not be surprised if this pedal becomes the new standard. What is there to not like?

Just wanted to thank Glenn and bump this thread. I never thought I would give up my morley little alligator. This little guy is everything you want. It stays put ,works wonderfully, looks great, weighs next to nothing, is built like a tank,and best of all, worth every penny! Little Moyo #292 will forever live under my guitar.
