Sharon, please accept this in the loving spirit in which it was meant. This girl has raw talent & you have provided her with some very good equipment but she has a few bad technique problems. Forumites have mentioned the volume pedal placement & the bar tilting. She needs instruction before she gets the bad habits ingrained. Even one good session with a good instructor would help. We all want to encourage her but these things will hold her back. I edited part of this post after I though about it & I will send you a pm to prove I mean well with this criticism.

Danny: Well said and so true. Correct bad habits before it's too late.

That is wonderful. Looking to great things from her. Even if she just keeps it at a hobby level, she will play better and enjoy it more.

I think she is doing very well as I'm assuming she's being self taught and remember she had to learn to crawl before she could walk and if she really get's into the Franklin course everyone is going to see a world of difference prob within 6 months. Very Happy

Thank you so much for your comment. Yes she started learning when she's 8 years old. Picks can't fit on her, so her dad decided to just forget picks for now. She is now correcting her bar mistake, she's still trying to get use to it. I told her just be patient and she'll get there. Bar is a little heavy for her too ^_^ .
