That sure sounds like the old recordings made by Emmons in the 60s. I would have never guessed it was an all-pull Fessie.

That elevator shaft was also used in Simon and Garfunkel's the boxer. The great break played by Curley Chalker was also recorded in that fashion.

Great sounding reverb.

The vid makes special mention of EQ'ing your Reverb signal.
To EQ Reverb on Fender Twin Reverb and similar two-channel amp, plug your instrument into channel-1, then run a cable from the other channel-1 input to the first channel-2 input.
Turn the Reverb knob up to 10.
Now control the volume of the reverb with the channel-2 volume knob, and EQ it with the channel-2 tone knobs.
You can add a 100%-wet deley between the channel-1 and channel-2 to add a pre-deley to the reveb (allows a little time between the picked note and the beginning of the reverb sound).

Sounds great! Are you making the IR available to the public?

Lee,

Thank you for posting this! I’d run across that video a couple years back and then have never been able to find it again.

I wonder if there’s a reverb pedal or rack fx unit out there that would let you get close to this sound? If anyone has any suggestions I’d love to hear them.
