I recorded this one at the start of last year with Max Lilleyman, a fellow Yorkshireman
Start of last year? Maybe longer, my memory evades me.
Anyway, this was a live (studio) take and was included on his album.
As an anniversary to his album launch he's let me bang it on my YouTube.
Listening back to this, it is scary how far I have come in terms of smoothness and intonation, but I still love this atmospheric crying steel sound!
The reverb and bar shivvvvvvvers might not be to all of your tastes' but this was my first experience of playing outside of my beloved country music and he asked me to really go to town on the atmospheric stuff.
Hope you enjoy! I actually got a warm heart listening back to this. It was the first sighting of Steven Hicken Jr doing harmonics
