We have some of these new 8 String KeyHeads for DIY Projects.

Solid Maple very stable and a major time saver. These are the same shape as our consoles steel guitars.
The Graduated aspect makes the string pulls very straight to the tuners for added sustain and tone.
Notice the 1st and 8th tuner area is longer to allow the tuner placement further away from the nut to avoid hitting the tuner button when playing low frets.

I have 2 pieces that are minor blems; for sale too; they need some love with file and sand to clean up the edges a little.
There is nothing wrong with them just rough looks.
