Okay you Guys and Gals in Forum land, can you please help.

Please suggest a good Internet Radio in the States that plays good old fashion Country music with a tad of new stuff. (plenty of steel too) Thanks in anticipation - GregT

Gotta go with KTNK (as in "Honky Tonk"). Different segments highlight different eras but it's all good.

I think it's KTNK in Lompoc CA. You have different segments different times of day, and days of the week. So if you don't like what you hear the first time you listen, give them a couple more tries.

Here's another good one. http://player.listenlive.co/34881 That's Q97.3-99.3 out of the Chattanooga area. I love their little sayings every few songs. Sample: "If we ain't country, there ain't a crooked politician in Washington!" Laughing

Patty Loveless playing now on that one. EDIT - now Johnny Rodriguez "Pass Me By If You're Only Passing Through". If that's not country..... Wink

Thanks again Don. Bit starved in New Zealand for a good selection of Country music. Driven underground by the Music Industry down here.

Good country has been driven underground in a lot of places, not just there. Glad I could help!

Do check out that other one as well. If you get the right DJ, you will hear some of the present-day real country artists, who you will not hear on regular radio.
