Really nice! A by-product for me since watching many of these Buddy Emmons flicks is becoming aware of Bobby Caldwell. Wow! Great 6-string player.
I am sure this is not a new observation for most but one thing about Buddy that always impresses me is how natural he is with his PSG playing and performing. So relaxed and comfortable. Just amazing. |

Bill -
Thanks again for posting videos from your archives.
This one reminds me of sitting in front of the stage - on the floor!
BE really seemed to enjoy this show with Darrell - the looser format allowed BE to 'free form' a little.
Buddy could make such a simple song sound unique (12:15 - 12:45) and then follow with a C6th gem (16:40 - 17:00).
We'd just sit and shake our heads in disbelief.
Off - topic related: Let's not forget Buddy's instrumental version of "Those Were the Days".....'cause they truly were.
Best regards Bill -

Thanks Bill for these, its nice of you to share these with us,who were too young to experience these great
performances. I was lucky enough to meet and, talk with Buddy after an Everly brothers, show in Atlantic City. He was the total package, class, style, talent, humor, and just a nice guy!
keep these videos coming! _________________ Regards, Craig
