1976 Pro-II Custom, 8x6, double-double changer with Bradshaw 26 fret fretboards. Stock SB pickups 17K on E9 and 20K on C6. RKR works on both necks. Standard height. Pedals 4+8 reversed. Appears to have been originally green faded to a brown color with rope inlay. Case is a little beat, yet still fully usable. Overall condition pretty good with quite a bit of bar dings between the necks. This steel is a player and plays great. Asking $2150 +shipping in lower 48. See pics:

That is a "The Pro~II Custom" made in June 1976.
Very nice and yes the lighter color Dies with Nitrocellulose lacquer easily faded if not Covered constantly, because Sho~bud used Food Color to die the wood...ah....ha...>but to find "Rope" inlay after 1974-ish..if very rare....
Good luck.

Cool guitar! It was more than likely blue originally. Looks like my '73. |

Hi Doug,
Talked with you on the phone about this all original show-bud. I really want it but I just found out I can't right now. Sorry about that. |

I really like the ergonomic tear-shape levers. And with the 6th lever for the c6th..mine was taken off probably years ago. Also the left-knee left is positioned for best efficiency and comfort.
Lynn Stafford at Steel Guitar West and he mentioned he had put in some work on this Sho-Bud and cleaned it up a bit...seemed very surprised this guitar was selling so cheap. |

Hi Doug!
I'm interested in buying but need to wait a few days to confirm ~
I just purchased a similar Sho Bud Pro II from someone on ebay who said it was in "good" condition and the pictures looked great, but upon arrival several pieces are broken or missing. Sigh
If ebay cooperates with me being able to return it & get my money back, I will happily send that money right over to you for this one.
Best - Julia |

Thanks Julia. I'll wait to hear back from ya. Remember, there are a lot of bar dings in between the necks. Otherwise, this Bud is in good shape. |

Sounds good! I can deal with dings but not pedals that are snapped in half... like the one I just got |

Julia,
It sounds like you bought a Sho~Bud with the pot metal parts.
You won't have that problem with this guitar!
