Almost finished with my new one. 3 pounds 15 ounces. Bolivian rosewood, maple and aluminum. Need to work a little more on the finish, and wire it up.

My goodness that's beautiful.
I don't know how you folks do it.
Everything I make ends up looking like an ashtray.

Larry, I sort of have an ashtray going on in this shot.

It's a Lace Aluma P-90.

Another beauty, Bill! I love the aluminum work you do when building these. How do you like the Lace pickup?

Thanks guys for your kind words. Peter I have yet to hook it up. I do have 2 friends on the forum who love them. Kevin Glandon uses one in the Lap Steel he built and it sounds very nice.

Another buddy, Steve Wilson, dropped one in two of his refurbished vintage guitars and really likes the sound.
I might add, both Steve and Kevin bought Aluma P-90 Riffian Pups. They were sold out everywhere when I was ready to buy one so I settled for the plain P-90. I believe Steve and Kevin told me the Riffian was a hotter Pup.

Bill, I like your light weight. Makes a good travel instrument. I've never been able to get the weight down this low with a wood body.
