I had the pleasure of meeting Harry Jackson at his shop in Lebanon, TN last week. He took 2 hours of his time to repair and adjust my 10 year old Jackson steel. I have never met a more personable man. It was a real honor to meet him and talk with him. I'm sure anyone who knows him will agree with me, that he is a special man.

I've spent lots of time talking with Harry, both at Scotty's in St. Louis and at the TSGA Jam in Dallas. Very informative discussions. Here's an "old" photo I took of him a few years ago.

I met Harry just outside the JACKSON booth, at the TSGA, this year. He took the time to visit with me, invited me into their showroom and treated me like an old friend. Definitely a memorable highlight of the show for me! Great guy, indeed! I regret not getting a picture with him...

If they don't, hopefully somebody will. And soon. It's a story that needs to be told, if for no other reason that so many of the true pioneers are no longer with us.
