I've had this beauty for a while now and it's time for it to go to a new home. I want another guitar but have been informed that something will have to go if I want any peace at home.

Sunburst with prewar style pick-guard (distinguished by the bordering around the edge) and on-board electrics. I'm not sure what the pick-up is but it has tone/volume rotary controls concealed in the sound-hole's upper bout.

I have found that it works best with medium gauge strings and has an extremely robust and powerful sound.

It's in excellent condition and has rarely been taken out of the house during my ownership. It had the standard black Gibson case when I bought it but I wanted a brown/pink-lined case to complete that vintage look.

I want $2,550 (new lower price) plus shipping to the lower 48. PayPal would cost you 3% on top of the total.

So far I've had three offers of trades. As I said in my post, Mrs Rettig has invoked the "One guitar out before another comes in" clause.

This is just to add that this SJ-200 has a Baggs 'dual-source' pick-up which was fitted by Gibson when the guitar was built.

I have just changed the 9v battery and it works perfectly.
