Here's a way of archiving chord melody arrangements without the tedium of tabbing out every note..I call it "short tab"like shorthand! The first number is the fret,then pedals( 4-8 on C6, knee levers are named by note they give you on open strings..ie:10/56Bb..would be 10th fret 5+6 pedals + Bb knee lever .You have to know the melody in your head to use this!..JS

Thanks, John - that's an intelligent way to do it! Basic positions and a place to start.

The melody 'falls under the fingers' once you're in the right spot.
