Here is something I came up with a coup!e years ago that I think some of you can use. It solves 3 problems when you sit your rack next to you on the floor.
1. It tilts the rack towards you making the controls easier to see and to adjust the controls.
2. It gives an exit out the back for your cords.
3. It gives air circulation for your gear.
What you are seeing in the photos are folding door stops. They fold into the case for packing and told out and lock into place when in use. They cone in a plastic bag from Home Depot and are labeled "kick back". This is the locking feature that is essential. The 3 Lowes stores in my area do not have the kick back, on!y the normal ones.
On my SKB case, I was able to bolt them directly to the case (top back side). On my Gator case I had to make some small pad spacers out of 1/2" plywood. I glued them in and clamped them overnight using Lock-tite PL Premium construction adhesive, which is the best stuff for glueing just about anything, that I have ever found. I decided I didn't want to drill holes in my new Gator case.
Hope somebody can use this.

OK, Ian, you have just made my simple solution not look so simple. But what happens when you have to use your spare pedal? Put your RV-3 under it?

| Ian, I'm with you. If I had thought of just jamming something under it, I would probably not have went to the trouble I did on two cases. Heck, I even have a beautiful mahogany wedge block I could have used. The door stops are more convenient and I can't lose them. |

Love all of your ideals George. I still have your version of the knob gaurd on my Nashville 112 and still use the string wedge .
