Whatever happened to Peavey NEO speakers

The advent of NEO speakers was a Godsend for schleppage. It seems SICAs and all the Eminence variations continue to be popular. I'm not sure when Peavey entered the arena, but it seems it was only for a brief time. Any ideas what happened to them?

The latest Peavey steel amp, The Session 115 has a neodymium magnet mounted on a 1501-4 BW basket. But, its still about twice the weight of an Eminence EPS-15C.
