We will have our monthly meeting on Sunday, July 1st at the OLD Community Center at 4th and West in Baxter Springs, KS. We will start at 1 pm. We will have our first round of discussions on the upcoming October 5,6,7 annual Steel Show. We will try to have our first outline for the players so we can actively pursue filling any gaps in the list. We want to include all those that have a desire to perform. If you were a past performer, you are automatically invited, but we need a confirmation of your attendance. We have several new requests to perform. An option is to start our show 2 hours earlier on Friday and/or run it an hour or two longer on Sunday. We also have a new Kansas Steel Guitar Association Facebook page. Please visit the site and submit for membership into the group.

Had 7 steelers and a whole bunch of new listeners this month. Guess the new Facebook page paid off. We had a couple of DJs from the local radio station, some new fans that visited OSGA in Jenks and found out about us being closer. We reminded everyone to try to make the OzSGA Super Show. We started our lineup for the KSGA show in October. Hope to get that list filled and notify all the players of their timeslots.
