I'm wondering if anyone had used these for traditional pedal steel sound and if they found the models in the THR10 or THR10C to be a better fit.

THR10 has 'Clean (6L6)' (supposedly based on Twin) and THR10C had Deluxe (6L6) that seem interesting.

I had a THR10 and I think the C model. It sounded pretty good with my Tele but not with Pedal Steel. It was sold, on the forum, and I saw the person I sold it to didn't keep it too long and advertised it for sale too.

I bought the 100w version. I tried various combinations of speakers and settings. I never got a sound I liked. I ended up selling mine also.

Try the acoustic setting which is the same on both model, flat & no FX.
For FX I use StompBox (iPad) (just a little eq twinking,a little compressor ,a little reverb, a little delay and a touch of chorus and phaser) and it sounds pretty good
...in the bedroom or living room !
