Album Sales Database

I am trying to find an accessible database of U.S. album sales stats.

Google has not been a good source - it defaults to "Top 100" or "Most Albums Sold" and not to overall album sales.

My search is find out album sales by artist, for instance, 'Total Album Sales - Bob Wills', etc.

Seriously though, perhaps individual record companies would have available stats for their artists.
