1980's vintage D-10 Sho-Bud Super Pro. Eight pedals, six knee levers. Triple-raise, double lower changer. Serial No. 16988. (Interestingly, the 1 is upside-down on the serial number. If it were a postage stamp it would be worth a lot.) Natural maple finish, wooden necks. $2400.00 plus one-half of the shipping cost to the lower 48. If you want it shipped elsewhere, let's talk. It comes with the original hard shell case which is in remarkably good condition.

This guitar enthralled appreciative crowds of dancers in quite a few honky-tonks over its life span. After its original owner passed on, I acquired it from his daughter and son-in-law, whereupon I disassembled it, sanded the underside of the cabinet down to bare wood, then applied a clear-coat of polyurethane to its beautiful and partial Birdseye maple wood. I polished the metal parts: rods, crossbars, cranks, pedals. I had the pedal rack and the end plates professionally polished. All the component parts are stock and lack the wear one might expect from such of an aged guitar.

After hours of polishing the metal components, I took it to Tom Bradshaw who rodded it out. He also made certain that the changer was re-set to new contact positions (which he can explain if you wonder what that is), assuring that it will function like new for another 35+ years for anyone owning it. Although everything works fine, Tom has also agreed to hold the guitar until it is sold, and will set up the LKR and RKR knee levers to the new owner's specifications — which one gets E-Eb and which does D#-D-C#. And if you know Tom, it will be one sweet-playing steel. To verify my description of the guitar, email Tom at tommybradshaw@gmail.com. Lastly, the new owner will have the option to choose which fretboard color they prefer: white — very retro, or black – more modern. Note the pictures revealing the differences in appearance for one or the other fretboard—it’s your choice!

In the pictures, the changer end was shot before it was set up, so some changer ends weren't there, but they are now.

I just called Tom Bradshaw, who's got the steel, and got a message that he's out of town until June 11. I'll have to postpone the sale until after then. I didn't know that was on his schedule.
Thanks for understanding.
