HEY EVERYBODY, I RECENTLY GOT A BOSS BLUES DRIVER PEDAL AND I PLAN ON USING IT TODAY(MY BAND IS PLAYING A BIKER RALLY AND THEY WANT TO DO "TRAIN, TRAIN" BY BLACKFOOT).

MY QUESTION IS HOW SHOULD I PUT TOGETHER MY EFFECTS CHAIN?

I USE A NASHVILLE 112 WHICH HAS THE PRE EQ AND POST EQ PATCHES.

I USE A GOODRICH MATCHBOX 7A, GOODRICH L120 VP, HALL OF FAME REVERB AND A DD-7 DELAY. MY AMP IS A NASHVILLE 112.

THANKS!

Distortion before the volume pedal is how I do it.

Distortion pedal before volume pedal = same amount of dirt no matter how soft you play, so to me it feels more like a fuzz.

Distortion pedal after volume pedal = more like plugging directly into an overdriven tube amp - the tone cleans up when you back off the volume.

So it depends on how you want it to behave.

Word to the wise: You should be using a Matchbox or other buffer before the Boss pedal, because the way the input impedance of a Boss pedal interacts with a steel pickup when you plug directly into it isn't pretty.
