Do a search. You'll be busy for several days.

Karl it's hard to do a search if you don't know the names of the people who participated in the thread. If you did. You most likly be asking this question.Try my name, and Larry Bell's name. Also be sure to look in the Pedal Steel Archive. Hope this helps......bb

All you need to do is search for "franklin pedal" and you will find many posts.

BTW, it's not a "chord" pedal change but is used for "licks".

You might want to visit www.Paul-Franklin.com and order his CD. I picked one up in St. Louis. He also has one for the F#>G#, D#>E lever. These are really handy if you want to know how he's doin' all that stuff. They're $15.00 each and really introduce you on how to use these two changes. The Pedal 4 CD change and the F#>G#, D#>E lever work well together as Paul points out on his CD. He uses the P4 in some nice passing chords through changes. He also uses the E>Eb lever with P4. It'll be $30.00 well spent IMO.

Thanks Tim,
They are available through the website along with a third lesson CD on playing extensively through minor chords. The price in St.Louis and through the website address is $20.00 each. I also have an E9th VHS video that I am reducing from 55.00 to 40.00 until the remaining videos are gone. All of these new lessons are on E9th.

The ordering address is: Stigitar Records, PO Box 1467, Goodlettsville, Tenn. 37070
Until I get these listed there is no shipping charges.

Thanks,
Paul

Paul,

I can't find where to order on your site. I bought the PF pedal 4 CD at the show and it's excellent!

Well, these are two GREAT CD's. Paul talks you through the lesson, explaining each move. The one CD I should have bought was "Why Not To Use Your LKV for the P4". I saw it comin' early in the lesson, tried to use it, have now canned it because it's hard to do LKV and LKR (lowering the E's>Eb) per the CD. Back under the hood!
