| It is designed for electric guitar with lower ohms resistance pickups. Not voiced for steel. Some people make out with it. |

If the Bandit 112 in the link in Jack Stoners post above is what you are referring to I don't recommend them for steel.
The link to a forum post below is an early Bandit 65, they are the ones that are decent for steel. The Bandit 112 is completely different.

Later on they were the Bandit 80 (I think) as the power was increased a bit. The Special 130, later 150 also looked like the Bandit and I believe were the same except for name and power output. If they don't have the basic appearance of the early Bandit and 130 you probably won't have much luck with them for steel. This is only my opinion and experience. |

| The Bandit will suffice for steel guitar, but the trick is the Nashville active eq circuit with the Mid/shift configuration. |
