I am the proud owner of a Session 500, but for the life of me, I cannot seem to get the sound I want with it. The Bass & the Mids sound pretty good, but the Highs are really thin. I can't figure out how to remedy this without getting too Muddy. Maybe you other 500 owners can help. Thanks in advance.

Joseph:
The one thing that bothered me about the session 500 was the high end. I installed the Lemay mod kit, and it made a world of difference. I love my 500, but it's heavy and the loder you get the heavier it gets. I've switched to The Nashville 112, and it's all the amp I'll ever need.

I used a Session 500 for about 12 years, both with a D-10 PP (Black) Emmons and with my Franklin D-10.

I set the Low at about +9, Mid at 800Hz and the cut on about -2 to -3, High and Presence about +.5 to +1.

Try that and see how it works.
