I found out about the new CD from this month's Guitar Player magazine interview...other than RR it's been a while since steel guitar has been represented much in their magazine.
Excellent playing and an enjoyable CD full of great surprises, Joe! |

It's always a very good, albeit all too rare, day when a new Joe Goldmark CD arrives in the mailbox.
Bravo, Joe! I took this CD with me on a long drive yesterday and was smiling the whole time. Great playing throughout and wonderful selection of tunes. I especially enjoyed hearing the steel in arrangements with B3 organ and the arrangements and playing often reminded me of Joe's love of soul and blues music. Really dug the instrumentals as well ("Warm Rain" is my fave) and I'm glad he gave the other Jim C. (Campilongo ) an extended solo on "I Want To Be With You Forever". All around, great playing, tune choices, arranging, and guest singers (geez, Glenn Walters coulda taken David Clayton-Thomas's place in BS&T, doncha think?)
Great work, Joe. Keep 'em comin'! _________________ www.JimCohen.com
