I've always been a huge fan of Carvin amps and this one is 100 watts and a perfect double duty amp for steel and 6 string. 6L6 power tubes have very little time on them and very quiet but puts out enough volume to peel the paint off the walls. Lower power settings switch and impedance switch. Reverb is good but not fender good so I use a Zoom pedal for effects. This amp is nearly mint condition and there weren't a great deal of these made in the black tolex with 6L6's. Asking $275 plus shipping.

This is a great price for a hard to find, 100 watt tube amp with a lot of tone shaping control. Power reduction and speaker impedance matching capabilities are really nice features to have.
Dave takes great care of his equipment and you can bet that it is as stated.

Guys, a bit has changed since I initially listed this amp and I haven’t been very diligent trying to sell it as I still use it at home. I’ve since converted it to accommodate a 15 inch speaker and have been using an original cone JBL K-130 as I did many years ago as my primary amp. This thing rocks and has that great vintage tube tone with enough volume to rattle the windows. I’m bumping it up with a lower price of $275 without the speaker which greatly reduces the shipping price. I will help with the cost of shipping either way... just add your favorite 15 inch speaker and you’re ready to rock!
