Group member Roy Thomson has graciously granted me permission to share two of his commercial tabs and mp3s for “Crazy†and “Last Date†to the members of LapSteelGuitar.
Both of these are in my top-ten favorite songs. How about you? “Crazy†was made famous by Patsy Cline. “Last Date†was made famous by Floyd Cramer.
Each of the tunes contains two sheets of tab and an mp3 of Roy playing with a backing track.
Both songs are in C6 tuning for 6-string lap steel guitar. The tuning is: C-E-G-A-C-E (low to high). If you enjoy these, you can get more at:

Also, click on Roy Thomson tabs in the left column for two other books in C6th tuning. You’d better hurry though since Roy is going to be out of his office for 5 weeks beginning March 1st.

Thanks for the hot tip, Ray. I am a Yahoo guy (for better or worse), so I had no trouble accessing the LapSteelGuitar user group.
There is a true treasure trove of material within that's gonna keep me busy for awhile. |
