Iseman Custom Koa Lap Steel, in mint/pristine condition. Inspired by the work of Hermann Weissenborn. Handcrafted using the finest air dried and handpicked Koa taken from the slopes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa in Hawaii, exceptionally dense and highly figured, producing tones that are deep, rich and clear, with huge volume and resonance. Finished with a combination of shellac and oil to further enhance the soundboard and to bring out the natural tone and complexities of the locally sourced Koa. The handpicked materials and matchless craftsmanship combine for a sound that is remarkably pure and resonant, almost ethereal in beauty. Topped off with rosewood binding, custom maple and rosewood purfling, rosewood fretboard with abalone position markers and custom maple/rosewood binding, X-pattern Sitka Spruce bracing, hand carved rosewood bridge, rosewood bridge pins, hand carved bone nut and saddle, and a beautiful custom rosette and tailpiece. Comes with custom hardcase and a brand new Lap Dawg Tonebar (3/4†x 2.85â€). Asking $2100. Shipped free within continental US.
