I have Dewitt Scott's Backup for E9. He also wrote a backup book for C6. The C6 book is the one I am looking for.

I think this book exists but I am not certain. The E9 backup book was published by Mel Bay but the C6 book was not.
I would appreciate any information.

This book was sold here on the forum, but it looks like they're out of stock. Maybe b0b has an idea of how to reorder them or what the publishing status is.

Thanks Alan. That is a start. The e9 version is great.

You did notice that book was for non-pedal guitar?

I just listed some books for sale. One of them is DeWitt's book for C6 (lapsteel).

I don't think Scotty had one on the Pedal C-6th. He had a few songs in his Pedal Steel Book, that had C6th, but not much. His C6th Book was on the lap steel.

I would be happy to have the lap steel version if that is what it is. Pedals or no pedals for C6 is all the same to me. His E9 backup book is extraordinary. I have seen this book. It obviously didn't sell, is out of print and almost extinct.

Nick, I use to have it, but I gave it to my Great Grand Son, in SC, who is learning to play. It should still be out there some where.

I just remembered. Cindy Cashdollar has some very good lesson out there. You can find her on the web. If you can't let me know.
