What a shock. I haven't seen Linda in years and was just recently trying to locate her. When she came to Reno and put the Texas Playgirls together we worked the same circuit for years and became friends. Linda was the first woman steel guitarist I ever saw and I was impressed at her big chord style- similar to Chalker.
Linda had been married to Donny Buzzard and I heard that he taught her to play. I wish I had asked her about that.

This is a sad day.
