I've been sending away for CD's that have been lost during my many moves,Anyway my latest is my favorite Linda Ronstadt record "Don't Cry Now"while reading the liner notes I have discovered that Buddy Emmons played on the title track,I always assumed that it was Sneaky Pete,Ed Black is also on a couple ,I guess my ear wasn't as good as I thought it was back then...Mickey McGee is on a few songs on drums,Great stuff.

Yeah, Stu... great album. Add to the list of stellar players my all-time number one piano hero - Spooner Oldham.

Awesome, Stu. I don't really know him, although we've met a few times. I'm constantly looking to him for musical guidance.
Y'know... What Would Spooner Do?

Skip,A very laid back mellow guy,One time me and the bass player were listening to our cassette of the Delaney rehearsal on the ride back to Redondo We kept rewinding tape to hear what Spooner had just played...he was very stealth in his approach,And a fine human!

As far as I know Buddy Emmons is only on these Ronstadt tunes. "I Ain't Always Been Faithful" and "In My Reply" from the "Linda Ronstadt" album, "Don't Cry Now" from the album of the same name, and "Desperado", "Love Has No Pride", "Silver Threads And Golden Needles" and "You're No Good" from the "A Concert: Behind Prison Walls" show with Johnny Cash, which used to be on YouTube, but seems to be gone now. Looks like you can rent it, though:

Am I missing anything?
