Anyone going to the Arizona Jammers Reunion in June? It's going to be held at the Fairgrounds in Indianola, Iowa.
I'm not involved with the operation of it but will be playing.

Hi Fred. It's called that because the musicians/singers from the Mesa/Apache Junction area that consist mostly of"snow birds" get together in June. It's been held in Minneapolis for many years but now it's moved to Indianola, Iowa. It's kinda like the SWSGA jam except there are many singers. It's a three-day event.

Close but no cigar. There are many jams held at the many 55+ parks from November through the end of March. Some parks keep their weekly jam going year round. This event is indeed a reunion of pickers AND audiences to visit/play and some don't play an instrument but sing. It's a very relaxed event starting in the morning and going into the evening. As I said before, I have nothing to do with the organizing, running this event. I go, play and visit with the many musicians I have met over the years.

And I forgot to mention it's free and RV'rs have plenty of hookups at the fairgrounds and lots of motels in the area.
