A friend reminded me of this show from the Rick Alexander Non-Pedal Room during the 2016 TSGA Jamboree. Carco Clave, as he has for years, played some exemplary guitar with me during my set that Saturday afternoon. A great musician and old friend who frequently accompanies me on steel shows.

The rhythm section was comprised of my partners from Austin, Charlie Irwin on bass, and Ron Erwin (no relation) on drums. Two of the workingest musicians in the Austin area.

The tunes we did were Freddie Freeloader, Cold Cold Heart, Don't Get Around Much Anymore, Little Coquette, and Rosetta.

We had a good time that day. Smile

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
