Peavey Reno 400 in a down-sized cabinet. The experts tell me the only difference between the Reno chassis and Nashville 400 is input 1, which has high gain for an acoustic instrument with piezo pickup. Input 2 works great for pedal steel. This amp has same volume pedal patch loop, EQ section, and power as the NV400.

This one has the Fox mod kit installed (big improvement over factory chips). Speaker is an Eclipse 15 inch taken out of my Evans SE200. The Eclipse is an 8-ohm speaker, and there's a parallel jack on the back of the cab for plugging in another 8-ohm cabinet for a total 4-ohm load. But the Eclipse is very efficient and plenty loud by itself. You could install a 4-ohm speaker instead of the Eclipse, but you'd need to disconnect the external cab jack.

The cabinet is a very fine Rick Johnson solid pine cab built to Nashville 400 dimensions.

All features work and it sounds as good as it looks.

$350 plus shipping.

( The piezo tweeter box shown in bottom picture is not for sale, but you can get one under $30 if you want to plug in acoustic instrument...my mandolin and flattop 6-string both sound very good through this rig. But I used it mostly without the tweeters, for pedal steel into input 2).

The Rick Johnson solid pine cabinet saves some pounds compared to a Peavey stock cabinet, not sure how much. But if you buy this amp and load a neo-mag speaker, it would weigh in at 43 pounds. That's what it weighed when I had a Telonics 15 installed.

A stock Nashville 112 weighs about the same as that, but the Reno 400 has that big sound that only a 210 watt amp and a 15 inch speaker can produce.

Do you still have the Telonics 15" Speaker and would consider putting it back? J.R. Rose

The Eclipse speaker is the only option I have for this amp. If it does not sell as is, I might split it up later and sell the separate components.

Close it up, I've decided to keep it for now. Thanks to those who responded, will let you know if I decide to sell in the future.
