Watching Pawn Stars last Sat (April 21) the daughter
of Noel Boggs brought in his Fender with 4 necks. She
wanted $50,000 but they did not respond and recommended
that she place it up for auction. This should be
interesting to the Boggs fans.

Good article in Vintage Guitar mag, Nov 2014, on Noel's playing background, pics of his Quad, and his daughter Sandra's search and recovery of his Fender.

I don't think that's the guitar though. The one in the video looks more likely to be this one...

Great example of how early steel players thought outside the box and used the guitar as a sound effects instrument. I just got a great record “ Swinging Fling”
By Alveno Ray that does some of the same

In the mid 1970s I was hanging out in a used guitar shop on Lankershim Blvd in North Hollywood just a mile or so from the Palomino club and someone walked in with that guitar trying to sell it. I could have bought it for $250 but I wasn't that interested because the guitar didn't have any legs or case at that point. It just said "Noel Boggs" across the front. Who knew?
