He didn't say "stomp box". |
No, but realistically - "effects boxes" rarely implies rack units, especially when used by newer players, who are looking for lower-priced, commodity items that are easy to find - not high end rack gear. _________________ No chops, but great tone

huh??? what do you mean by compression, it makes my steel sound...well sound awful george!!
Listen to Wally Moyers. This Ladies & Gentlemen, is Compression, Light Squash, in other words...just a tad of the hair of the dog that bit ya. In this fantastic video, Wally shows every steel guitarist who ever wore a pair of jeans, how to use compression. The fine compression comes in right AFTER the B3 organ solo, even on the ResoRocker. Great to here wally on something besides E9th for a change. Fantastic video Wally, thanks for the sound, and....steel guitar lesson. Enjoy.
