As this video does not pertain strictly to Steel Guitar, I can understand if moderator wishes to remove. The movie is 1hr:50m in length and stars Marty Robbins. It is from 1966 and gives a nice look into country music back then. It is silly at times but is mainly a performance movie. Some pedal steel can be found at 41:44 and 53:25. I do not know who the pedal players are. Maybe someone else does?
There are some great appearances by Marty Robbins, Connie Smith, Waylon Jennings (clean-cut), Johnny Cash and the Carter Family, Don Winters, Katy Wells, Faron Young, Bill Anderson, Dottie West, Porter Wagner. The movie ends with Marty singing 'El Paso' (one of my favorites). Hopefully some may enjoy this. |

I believe the second player is Canadian great, Bob Lucier. Nice to see Jimmy Gateley singing harmony and playing bass as well. |
