But I know what you mean, Leo. Do you remember not being here? In memory, I was always here.

Or try thinking of something you remember. Can you remember it as something other than that? I can't.

I'm told it used to irritate me when some cousin would wonder what happened sometime before I was born and be told I was dead then.

My splenectomy at 4 years old. Or much before that thankfully. A yellow baby is indeed a bad sign!

Erv, my wife and I have a standing joke whenever I forget something. I tell her "Don't worry, there's nothing at all wrong with my memory, ______" and in the blank I'll randomly insert any woman's name except hers. It always gets a giggle out of her.

I'm sure I was at a Mannassas gig in the early seventies, but I remember nothing.
Also a friend tried to convince me that my Volkswagen Beetle fell on it's head when it landed on a meadow. We got out and turned it on it's wheels again. So he says.
