| Your precision with timing and intonation is impeccable. The harmonics are dead on, and that shimmery vibrato put a smile on my face. As with all your recordings, you play with an obvious respect for the music you choose. Great job, and thank you for posting. |

Thanks Fred, Larry, Jan, and others. Yes, I do love this tune and the other songs I’ve recorded. I know that some steel guitarists don’t like playing Sleep Walk, but I’ve always seen it as a challenge... trying to get close to the sound that Santo got on the original recording. It’s very tempting to add more fills and improvisation to the song, but Santo played it plain and simple, mostly single notes, single strings.
