Song of the Islands is one of my all-time favourites, and you do it so well. Can you tell us a bit about the Melotonen bar?

I guess I should answer the questions. I asked Kevin to use my bar because he does such a great job on everything he plays. I can't play well at all and I wanted my bar in the hands of a good player, Kevin was certainly up for the task.

My bars come in white or black. They are made from polymer. I can make them plain or put a contrasting dot in the end. So far all orders seem to want the dot. I do not have any inventory. I will make a bar to your specs. ie: length, diameter, color, weight (within reason) You can only get so much weight in a bar. If you want to buy a bar, we can discuss your needs. My home email is roddman@verizon.net or you can get a hold of me on here by PMing or emailing me. I don't have set price, it all depends on your specifications.

Truly beautiful job, I love that tone.
Fab bar slants & harmonics to boot! Cool
Wish I could play like that. Mr. Green

Dang, Kevin.
You nailed it one on of my fav tunes! I have enjoyed your Hank stuff on the Gibson console, but I feel your true calling is the Hawaiian tunes on that guitar. I think I see why I am having trouble getting your tone even though I also have a Melotonen bar and Alumitone Riffian pickup...you have brown knobs, and mine are black Very Happy

Don’t forget that I using a Boss GE7 EQ pedal to boost the tone to my liking. The small practice amp I’m using doesn’t cut it on it’s own.
