I'm totally jell, Billy...as I'm sure a few of us are.
Tom used a couple SD11's with DY. The black Dixie gtr, and I think I remember a brown one that he used on a different LP... as well as on a Rosie Flores LP we did. Pretty sure the brown one was the "God May Forgive You" steel. What great sounding gtrs those ZB's were. Of course, Tom had something to do with that...
By the time we did Sara Evans' 3 Chords and the Truth LP - 1995 - Tom was playing the blonde & red SD11 Mullen. |

A lot of the Eddys album was recorded at my studio in North Hollywood but on those recordings, Ed played a push pull. I remember when just about everybody in town had one of his handmade guitar straps. Everybody who knew him loved him and were just shattered when we lost him. |
