I put this on my Excel when I ordered it but I don't use it a lot. When I'm ending a song in the A and B pedal down position I'll play the major chord and then pick string 7 and hit the knee lever to make a major 7 chord. I'll also use it as a unison effect with string 6.

In an Open position, your 7th string raise produces a minor of the Open Position chord.

>> omit strings 1 thru 3, 6, and 9

In an A & B Pedals Down / Closed position, your 7th string raise produces a Dominant 7th of the Closed Position Chord

>> omit strings 1, 2, and 9

Ron, your examples sounds like you are only raising string 7 a 1/2 tone, from an F# to a G. I have wondered about the possibilities of putting a 1/2 stop on my string 1 and 7 whole tone raises, I like both examples that you mentioned, they used to be common on old Sho Buds, instead of the knee lever that lowers the 6 string a whole step.

Bob - dagnabbit, you caught me!

I didn't read the original poster's mention of whole tone raise close enough.

I have aforementioned 7th string raise on RKR.

And maintain 6th sting whole tone drop on RKL.
