Once again, Telonics will be supplying amplifiers, pedals and other equipment for both the main stage and the non-pedal shows. In addition, a number of vendors will have our amps and pedals on hand for their use at their displays.

Telonics will again be operating two (2) different display rooms in addition to a display table in the vendor area. (The Telonics display tables are just as you enter the vendor display room from the lobby, right across the aisle from Rittenberry guitars and down the aisle fromWilliams guitars.)

Telonics 1 is next door to MSA, in one of the four large rooms on the south side of the main lobby - just before you enter the large vendor display room just outside the main performance hall.

Telonics 2 is aptly nicknamed “The Telonics Cave”, and ‘was’ named the Talley room by the previous hotel owners. It was once the first exercise room for the hotel and is placed far and away from other rooms, so players can play as loud and they like without bothering anyone. The Telonics Cave can be a bit difficult to find. (In years past after the show, people have told us they never could find it....)
To get there:
Exit the main lobby through the double doors opening to the swimming pool area. Turn right immediately when you go through the glass doors; pass the small display room on your left and enter the corridor on your left. It will open up into the south end of the Cave. It’s hard to miss once inside, the entire north walls are covered with solid mirror ten feet high, floor to ceiling. This is the room in which we have held the Saturday afternoon technical/amp seminars with Jim Evans in years past.

On that same topic, we will once again host the annual TSGA amp/technical seminar – additional information will be listed in the TSGA show booklet and posted in the Telonics 1 room.
(Historically, the seminar has been held at 2:00 PM on Saturday.)
We are always blessed with well qualified technical experts who graciously volunteer to discuss virtually any issue associated with the electronics associated with steel guitar playing in live venues or recording applications.

This year Telonics will donate one of our popular TCA500C-12 Mini Combo amplifiers to the TSGA, it will be raffled during the show on the main stage.

This is the same model used by Lloyd Green and it is rumored that it may be one of the two that he plays on the show and will be personally autographed. It will be a ‘real’ keepsake for some lucky player.

For those of you who have made special arrangements to pick up Telonics equipment early at the show, please contact us as soon as you arrive at the hotel. There are a lot of people and time will be short due to setup constraints for our crew. For those who wish to pick up amps used on the show stages toward the end of the show – please let us know when you are leaving for home so we can schedule their use in the show accordingly. We will be offering all the amps used on the show stages at a discount on a first-come basis, a number of them are already reserved. We will also have a few earlier rev model amps available at additional discount prices.
Contact Sophie in Telonics 1 if you would like see if the one you like is available.

Our crew will arrive Wednesday evening. Set-up of the performance stages, our display rooms and vendor tables will begin as early Thursday morning as the Hotel will permit.

Every TSGA show gets better and better - we expect this one to be no exception,
We look forward to seeing our old friends and making new friends!

Everyone here is chomping at the bit!
We'll have a full crew of engineers, technicians, specialists and coordinators on hand to accommodate questions, updates, downloads, etc.
It's a hectic flurry of final activity around here because the truck has to be loaded in the morning.
Stacy Beaty and Ron Blair will herd the big truck across miles and miles of West Texas.

The very last two amplifiers have passed production and engineering tests, as with every amp we build, I now get to play-test every control and output on them so they can be signed off and headed for packing.

(These are the two TCA500C Mini-12's for Lloyd at the show. Some lucky person is going to leave the show with one of these so as with every amp we build, by the time I get through I will know every little thing about them before they get packed for the truck.)
It is going to be a great show.

Billy, it will be great to see and hear you again, it's been too long.

Jerry, I heard you've been working out some new licks - I'm gonna hit you up to show them to me so I can steal them.

Roy, I haven't heard a great piano since I snuck out to the stage and watched you play the last show. I don't know how to do it! We'll have some Arizona orange honey for Mrs. Rosetta, if you're nice she may share it.

Paddy, each year you come back with more great material and technique. We used to give you all the credit until we tried that incredible steel Bruce built for you. Is it possible that might be the secret weapon in your arsenal? Bet it’s on a par with that great compound bow of yours.....

See ya real soon

Looking forward to seeing you and the rest of the team in Dallas. Last year I bought everything in one fell swoop, TCA-500C head, separate 12" cabinet and the volume pedal. All has performed beyond expectations and the sound is amazing. Glad I made the plunge last year.

See you at the show.

Good to hear from you Wally, now we know the show will be a good one! You'll have to update us on all your projects and tell us how you manage to keep up with that busy and talented boy of yours.

Take care coming to the show folks, there are at least a few crazy people on the road!

My biggest question is what does the volume pedal do for me that a pot pedal cannot. I’ve been pondering on purchasing one but need a little insight. Would be using with peavy 112 and 400.

Hey Dave, was great seeing you and everyone with Telonics team earlier this week. Unfortunately my wife and I had to leave abruptly Friday morning to come home for a family matter. Hope to see you next time. Take care.
