Hi,

I'm new to this forum, and a relatively new steel player, so hello everybody Very Happy

I got a hold of a 10 string Nashville Ltd. when I was in Nashville 3 years ago. The guitar has 3 pedals and 4 levers.

The thing is that the threads on the rods are almost gone, and the ball joints (?) should be replaced as well.

Any recommendations to where I could by these to ship internationally (to Norway), and what I should look/ask for to be sure I buy parts that is compatible with my guitar?

I'll post some pictures here if it helps.

Thanks!

Those are standard parts, and there are several places in the states you can buy them and have them shipped I am sure, but I sure that any european steel builder would be able to help you out as well... Mike Yahl here in the states could help out, but shipping the parts would cost as much as than the parts.. You would simply have to measure the pedal rods..
HOW did you wear out the threads on the rods anyway????... bob

They're also regularly used as carburetor linkages: if you have friends in the antique car world, they might be able to help you, although their being in SAE rather than metric may hamper your quest in Europe.

Since he wants to also replace the balljoint thing, couldn't he just buy a pedal rod from a European builder with the balljoint attached? Of course, the end of the rod would have to be bent to where the rod fits the pedal lever under the guitar.

Thanks, Bob.
Yeah, I guess they are pretty standard parts, in the US at least.

The threads were in pretty bad shape when I bought the guitar - and I sort of managed to deal with it until now. My next gig I bet they'll come off, so I think it's time.

Thanks for the link!
