The Allegeny Steel Guitar Association is sponsoring a Steel Jam on Sunday, 04 March 2018, at the Stanley Snyder VFW, Post 7465 Brent Road, Volant, PA 16156. The venue is just a few miles from the "Grove City Premium Outlets" Exit on I-79. All regional players and guests are invited to the event, starting at 1:00 pm and continuing throughout the afternoon. The Jam format will remain like always; steel is the only lead, staff band and singer support provided for your favorite tunes, and guest attendance is encouraged. Our March 2017 Jam went well. This next Jam is in response to numerous requests for another Steel Jam. Please tell other players to come. Hope to see you there.

Hi All,
Just got back from the Steel Jam and want to say it was a good time. I want to thank Steve Porter for all his efforts making this happen and all of the steel guitarists and the great singers and backing band for helping make this another good time. Simply superb.

LaVern

Jake - We missed you at the Jam and wish you well soon.

LaVern - I agree, the Steel Jam went off very well. Attendance was well over one-hundred people, including a mix of steel guitar players, advanced performers, and interested fans of steel guitar. I received several lesson inquiries from people just starting out on pedal steel. It’s good to see continuing interest in our favorite instrument.

My thanks to all who helped support the Steel Jam throughout the day. I look forward to another ASGA Steel Jam later this year.

Best Regards,

Steve
