This is a good one that I did a while back. Good tune that I have not taught on Steelin Techniques. May be a good one to put on our list to do !

Great job playing as always William.
I find playing with a track like that challenging. It really lets you know how good you know the song.

I learn something new in all of the songs we've done. The technique exercises are always my favorite part to work on though. That's where you can get creative☺ I'm voting for Storms.

Glad to be working on this one William. You're version sounds great. I've taken a few months off from E9, and am ready to get behind one again.

Great. I like how you put the extra tune in the beginning of each lesson. But at some point, I have to perfect some tunes and let others go by the wayside. When I'm good enough I want to incorporate 2 steel songs per set, because I'm still out gigging. I need the reinforcement.

Just wanted to say William, I really like the idea of taking a little more time with the techniques and taking smaller bites of the project tune. I always seem to get bogged down when we get to the more demanding parts. I also liked how the technique phrases can be linked in various ways. The way you put them together is really helpful to me in piecing together songs I'm trying to learn. Great broadcast this week.
On a side note, good to see Chuck Hughes on the PSG forum. I'm a BIG fan Chuck!

Joe Cook, thank you, nice of you to say so. I had three gigs this past weekend and attended the Dallas Steel Guitar Jamboree the previous weekend, so I'm just catching up here. William, thanks, for mentioning Joe's comment in the video.
Frequently played songs at the convention- The Other Woman, I Love You So Much It Hurts, My Weakness is too Strong. Lloyd Green opened with D-I-V-O-R-C-E and then did his most famous songs. He played single E9 with three levers. At 82, his playing was perfect- very smooth and even. Jaydee Maness played, and also Steve Palousek, Doug Jernigan and lots of great players.
Bob Case, organizer of the Denver Steel Show, was there and asked me to take a slot at the Denver Show- 25 minutes, so the pressure is on to have a six song set together by June 21st.
William, I would call your teaching style stream-of-consciousness. If something leads to something else, you go there. I like the little aside comments. You explore the song rather than just teach it rote, and that's fine with me.
