Congratulations to Donna Dodd who was given the Georgia Steel Guitar Legend Award at our show this past Sunday. While not a player, Donna is deserving of this award because of her passion and commitment to the instrument. Donna was involved in the birth of our organization, is the webmaster, a GaSGA officer, and in charge of the door at all our shows. As most of you know, she is also the moderator of the "Events" and "Gone Home" sections of the Steel Guitar Forum.

Congratulations Donna Dodd you are doing a great job and we need more Women to get involved with the Steel Guitars. My Wife is involved with her Key Board and also pushes me on my Steel Guitar by making me play more. I sit behind it three to four times a day for about one hour and I,m doing a good job now

Thank you to THE BILLs (Cunningham & Ferguson) and THE ROGER CRAWFORD for selecting me for this honor! Since 2003, the GaSGA has provided community outreach and referral for anything and everything steel guitar related. Our first Georgia Peach Jam was in 2004, and we continue to showcase some of the finest players around! It's one big family that I affectionately call my TWANG family!
